  Bahamas Beach Cottages (BBC) is a Private Condominium Community of Key West Style Homes located in Sussex Delaware, a half mile from the Bethany Beach Boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a secluded community of 74 homes with the decor of the Carribean, located off Kent Avenue adjacent to the Assawoman Canal. Biking to the beach has become the favorite way to get there.

Bahamas Beach Cottages offer many activities, kayaking in the canal, boating, paddle boarding, fish and release in the stocked ponds, and soon to be hiking on the Assawoman Canal Path, which is scheduled to be finished this year. It is already finished from Route 26 to White Creek. There is a State ramp for power boats and personal watercraft, and it is possible to take the Canal from BBC to Ocean City or from BBC to Rehoboth Beach. Delaware has no sales tax and there are major shopping outlets 12 miles North at Rehoboth Beach for those rainy days.
